Ian McNabb

Following his sold out 2011 concert tour, former Icicle Works front man Ian McNabb makes his debut appearance at the Hare & Hounds as part of his 2012 UK tour in support of his new album ‘Little Episodes’.

Legendary Liverpool singer-songwriter Ian McNabb will be bringing his electric – acoustic tour to Birmingham, performing tracks from his new release ‘Little Episodes’ in addition to songs from his solo career and Icicle Works days.

The new album is a stunning collection of freshly minted tracks which confirm Ian’s status as one of the premier talents of his generation.

‘I can’t wait to play these new songs in front of an audience, I’m very proud of them and how they have turned out’ Ian McNabb.

Little Episodes is released on 6th February 2012.

Ian McNabb is one of the finest singer-songwriters Britain has produced. Emerging from the 1980’s Liverpool music scene, Ian started a musical journey as songwriter, lead singer and guitar player with The Icicle Works which has taken on many twists and turns.  The initial run of hit singles with The Icicle Works (Love Is A Wonderful Colour, Birds Fly, When It All Comes Down, Evangeline, Understanding Jane, Little Girl Lost) has been followed by a distinguished and critically acclaimed solo career, including a Mercury Prize Nomination for the 1994 album ‘Head Like A Rock’ which was recorded with Neil Young’s band ‘Crazy Horse’.

Now in his third decade as a recording artist, Ian continues to write stunning songs with warmth, humour, cynicism and grandeur and continues to tour his unique electric–acoustic show to sold out audiences around the country.
